I have just fitted the nexx x com ( think it’s a renamed sena ) system to my helmet and the phone sound is fine but the sat nav sound is a bit fuzzy .the nav is a zumo 396 .any suggestions on what might be the problem .

I have the same problem with an X-com, it sounds like someone opening a packet of crisps. But sorry no help with a fix. I did try new ear plugs which allow sound through which allowed the volume to be turned down which made some difference.
check what version of blue tooth is being used by the phone, satnav and coms unit.
Its not much help because you probably cant change it but one of the things that the new blue tooth versions provides for its better quality of speech.
at a guess I would say its likely that the phone has the latest version, comms unit latest or previous and the sat nav probably older than that
