My b@llocks weigh more if they've not been emptied before a ride out.
Carbon is as much about its appearance these days as it is about its weight saving.
I saw one in the dealer's today and was tempted to pinch the bars to match my HP wheels..
Have to say that in the flesh I really liked the colour scheme & the one I saw had heaps of billet stuff too - very bling.

I thought they were for 2021 as they had only been launched on the web very recently so I was surprised to see your post of them being delivered already .
I must say I’m really tempted by the 40th Anniversary R9T Urban GS , it looks fab and also more similar to the original bike.

he ordered it at 9am the day the came on sale. they had to wipe his nose and hands marks off the window
i ordered mine 24 hours later although i dont want mine until 1/1/21 so technically its 21!

Nice. Are both sides skinned?
Did it cause any fitmint issues as it’s slightly thicker?

No, just the outside, but passes around the edges enough not to reveal the original finish from any angle.
No fitment issues whatsoever. He agonised over the recessed finish. Initially in carbon, but as it is removable and has to accept a screw, decided the carbon could spoil, so it is actually matt black.
Picked it up this afternoon and currently fitting all my stuff off my 1200.
Will get some more pictures up tomorrow or Wednesday.
Hope to do a big run on Wednesday to get some miles on it.

Hi my friend from creta greece!one question please..can you describe if its have the same rattling clattering noise from left cylinder when the engine is warm?maybe they fixed that in new facelift version.thank you!

looks brilliant mate ,but just a word or warning,i too changed all the stuff over from my 1200 to my 1250,carefull if your fitting a huggar ,that big bolt comes loose .it has been discussed on here
Weather permitting? Just get out on the bloody thing! I turned mine from brand new to minging in about 5 hours on Saturday!
