Newbie

Hello all,
New to the site, I've ridden road bikes for years and have been a member of the TRF for a couple of years, I've really enjoyed the trail riding but now have a fancy for my first GSA so I can do a bit of touring next year.
Is it worth spending the extra on a water cooled model?
Any other buying tips would be appreciated.

The WC is a great bike; go test ride a selection so you can become more familiar with them....don't rule out a twin cam either.
