I'm noticed a few people on GS's have had their TFT's stolen. Are thread to take off the r1250rs?

Hasn't Mark Hooton from Cymarc just commented on this , I think he has a plan

This should have read "are they easy to take off the r1250rs". Red wine and autocorrect 1 me 0 !

All the TFT screens are held in place via 3 circlips different surrounds but the same inherent vulnerability, you can see the three pins with the clips attached still.

Another one stolen in London they have literally ripped it from its mounting damaging the mount in the process.

Sorry if I’m being thick...

What are they doing with them ???

Surely the only demand is, errrr, the last bloke they nicked one off ??

They can retro fit them to 17.5 year bikes there is a whole thread on the USA forum. The problem is it involves lots of coding software.

Ahhh right.

I guess that we users have a responsibility to buy a “ bargain” tft then
