The headphone safety feature is a EU directive and will affect Android phones as well apparently. I may look at re installing a previous iOS but for now I have found 1 work a round. If you go into the health app you can edit the daily stored Db level, deleting it restores the weekly count to zero. How long this lasts will depend on how long you listen for and how loud you hav the volume.
