Yes, I think that with the Scorpion cans will help it breath in and out easier
The Scorpions sound fantastic on this bike

The bike is such great value and is brilliant starting point for customising and making it your own. The after market have picked up on this and there is no shortage of choice for accessories and parts.

Enjoy it, I hope to be looking for one later this year.

Couple more little tweaks..... fitted adjustable levers from Hitchcock's.... easy fit really, I usually set up clutch and brake reach a little different so it's comfortable for me

Fitted the short stainless RE engine bars recently, and a small rear rack for a tailpack to carry my purse and make up bag ....and a little clock that fits in the stem nut very neatly

Fitted some rubber gaitors to the Interceptor. Went with a more 'unconventional' route for this.

Rather than stripping out the forks, fitted from the bottom up..... the gaitors come soaked in oil and are very pliable so used some thick twine to help get it over the larger bumps of the caliper bracket fixings

One year with the Interceptor now and as I've said before, everything is adequate on this bike and wanted to give the suspension a year before deciding if I wanted to upgrade.

Have now just fitted YSS rear shocks, these have been getting good reviews for the 650 twins. Set them up tomorrow and see how we go. Easy fit.

A few more mods to finish off my winter 'enhancements' in the garage......

Installed sump guard, you have to disconnect the exhausts both sides and hang off to get access for the brackets, easy job with a ramp though.

Fitted up and back risers. 30mm up 20mm back. Was thinking of fitting 60's style TR6 bars but would have meant longer clutch and Throttle cables. Even the risers needed re routing a little. Not much excess cabling on the Interceptor. Much improved relaxed riding position for me now.

Removed the 'lollipop' mirrors and fitted bar end mirrors. Pretty solid fit and although small give good rear views.

Been using my Tiger 800 over winter but had a short run on the Inty yesterday and looking forward to spring

I've got a sump guard from Hitchcocks ready to fit, mainly to protect the oil filter. I've been considering taking off both the mudguard extenders and removing the fork leg reflectors. I've bought a rear reflector to fit on the bottom of the reg plate when I remove rear mudguard. Later I may replace the rear shocks with IKON units similar to what I put on my T120, and progressive fork springs (these mods made a big difference)
I'm undecided about replacing the silencers, the bike doesn't sound too bad standard, and I don't want anything too loud.

I have considered bar end mirrors on my Himi, Jazbee what did you buy ?
