I see the configurator has been updated with accessories, ranging from black sump guards, axle protectors, and fender extension (which I didn't know they did) to side bags and panniers.

I see listed are a spray and radiator stone guard (£90) and radiator grill cover guard (£370). I have the oem plastic guards, but anybody know what these two are? Looked through the accessories booklet to no avail, unless I've missed.

edit - found the spray and rad set - look like the oem plastic grilles plus some bits :-)

Ironic isn't it that when I put some 3rd party radiator protectors on my 2013 LC, I was warned by the service manager at Allan Jefferies that I would not be covered by the warranty if I had a cooling issue.
Things like these should be put on from new, as should any manufacturer that places the radiator in a position where damage is possible.

The 2003 Fazer 600 in my avatar has a rad protector on it as standard and that is placed very high up.

All about increasing profits these days.

I can recognise the rad guards, but what are the other two pieces?

I think they fit to the frames behind your legs to stop crap splashing up from rear wheel.

be careful i ordered a new gsa and at first they charged me £300 for a center stand ,when i questioned it they said it was a fault with the configurator
and you get charged £325 for delivery of the bike when new

Have you placed your order ?

Looking at the new configurator,

centre stand is now a chargable option , lets be honest, how many of you use it when parking on an adventure? if they can make money charging for it ....

When I had my GSA (and now my VFR)....if I am leaving the bike any longer than it takes to pay for fuel and it's on a sound, flat surface......it goes up on the centre stand.

S20 5G sent this......

I don't know but I think you may find that the option is there simply for certain versions. I expect it's still included in TE versions and basic other than perhaps rallye, for example. I think it's just that the configurator isn't very refined now that they added the assessories.

Same here.
Always parked long term on centre stand. Be a nightmare to clean or do even simple maintenance without the centre stand.

That £300 will more than likely equate to €400 for us Irish lads....

That's a holy feckin disgrace for a model that always came with one as standard.

They can feck off. I will swap it over from the current bike to any new purchase I make along with the usual bits

Check what you click. I wanted a gsa 40th with yellow rallye seat. This puts the yellow screen on too and removes pillion pack and centre stand. No cost difference Dealer was quite useful with this.

Confirmed with my dealer that it comes standard on Adventure TE models. I assume it's the base models that it needs to be bought as an option, but can't confirm for sure.

It’s crap now you can’t spec a base model bike as you want it as they’re packaging stuff together.

If you want heated grips you have to select the comfort pack with keyless ignition and chrome headers. You can’t have Dynamic Pro without ESA. :blast

I placed the order November 2020 and had my bike delivered January 2021. Standard GS without even one extra. The only option was Tripple Black. It came with center stand as standard. But again, the order was placed in 2020.
