I'm looking to sell my 2012 TC GSA with 52K miles on it, in the spring for 6£K with the luggage / liners / sat nav etc to a fellow tosser.

The dilemma I have is, there is some peeling paint work on the front engine plate, its it worth the effort for the price I'm asking to fix that or is the price reasonable enough to expect the new owner to fix it?

Stew.

I would probably leave it. Then a new owner can see what they’re getting .

With 52,000 on it no one should reasonably expect a bike to be pristine. So leave it. Besides once you do that other bits start to look shabby and you will end up doing a full refurb.

If the Guy has seen the Bike and is happy to pay what you're asking, where's the Dilemma?

If I was buying, would rather get a bike having seen what paintwork is required and agree a price that reflects this, GLWTS.

What would be the going rate to have that area painted (proper job rather than smootherite)!!:thumby:
