Aftermarket suspension

Hi gents
We a know Tractive makes the shocks for Touratech.
The only difference is in the internal construction TT comes with PDS
If you planning off-road TT is the way to go
They use nicely design sealhead with extra dust seals. They are also reacting 10x quicker when set to the dynamic ESA.

The other important fact that was mention above bigger aftermarket dampers come with more oil in them so they perform better for a bit longer.
Will they perform £2600 better ?
They also need service every 15K miles like any other HP dampers

Full service of your OEM dampers including custom springs cost around £450

The problem of missing scraper seal of the front damper and crapy seals of the rear damper is solved during the service.
Many other upgrades can be done.

But I'm the guy doing it so I shouldn't tell what's better.
First picture WP PDS also pictures of the front LC shock without scraper seal and how it looks after 15K mils road only use...
Finally pictures of the upgraded seal heads
with polyurethane scraper and Viton rubber seals.

Looking at the information, the TT units seem to be the best for my requirements, still controllable through the BMW ESA System, more oil and bigger rods etc for off road use, just a couple of thousand or so problems getting them.
