Spain - Catalonia - Perpignan to Barcelona

That looks a really well thought out route covering very varied but beautiful parts of the area :)

I would highly recommend not missing out this loop into the Cap de Creus national park, it's a lovely little part of Catalonia and the rock formations in the national park itself are otherworldly. You can also visit Dalí's house (pre-book) which is well worth the visit. Oh, and if you're into some easy off roading there's that as well. The picture below is of one trail overlooking Cadeques which is a great little town to stay in and use as a base if that grabs your fancy..

Andres

Thank you, Andres.

I was hoping that someone would add to it. Perpignan is a pretty popular destination, not least as it is at the eastern end ‘gateway’ to the Pyrenees. If it encourages bods to go beyond the mountains, great.

The road in the picture looks pretty much like the road up to my parents’ place in France, except that was at about 45 degrees in parts. Excellent (or not) in a Porsche GT3 and on my 1600.

I liked Cadeques. Plenty of accommodation, some great restaurants down by the water & a lovely harbour.
If only we could go back right now...
