Hello folks
Did anyone familiar with this problem? After removing rocker covers l find paint start flaking (mostly from the edge of the cover)and there was a lots small paint bubbles around as well .l removed any lose paint and bubbles and sand it the area to get smooth finish, but for me that's weird to paint the covers from inside ,although it wasn't that much in centre of the cover ..
Anyone discover same problem?
It's 2010 GSA twin cam

Interesting, the insides of my covers are not painted. Are these OEM I wonder?

Yes they're OEM indeed, what year is your one?

Maybe a stupid question but, are you sure that is paint? It looks like a light covering of oil to me.

If they are OEM they will have the BMW emblem printed on the inside of th cover. Never seen the inside painted before....usually done on poor quality casting to make them water (or in this case oil) tight. Have to say none of the three TCs I have owned had painted rocker covers. Not to say there aren’t any...just not seen before on other than cheap Chinese’s copies.
