Are there any other fuses apart from in the fuse box to left of battery.
I’ve shorted my bike when changing a faulty heated grip and now my headlights and front indicators don’t work.
I looked at the 3 fuses and they all look ok,but going to change them this morning now I have some spare.
Could it be anything else ?

Have you removed the fuses to check them, I’ve seen the ceramic fuses pop at the ends where they make contact

I’ve just changed all 3 fuses and still no joy.
Gave Mikeyboy a quick call and he’s given me an idea so going to investigate further.

Fixed !!

It was this red connector.Must have knocked it when putting tank back on.Weird as I’ve had tank off a few times :

(It wasn’t this disconnected-just enough to not work )

Thanks Mikeyboy .Might never have found that !!!!

Ive come across this several times and on different bikes. It’s more likely taut wires. A cable tie, at right angles to the bracket, pulling both halves of the junction box together sorts it out.

Well done mate, glad it's sorted.

Told ya it'd be something unplugged. :D

That happened to me when refurbing the 100GS. I swapped the position of two blocks to give just a tad more free play in the wiring. Why BMW didn’t give a couple of cms more length in the harness is beyond me!
