Checking bike the other day noticed a light line around the tyre it’s the Bridgestone a41 adventure standard fitting it’s only done 2000mls there is nothing rubbing that I know of or can see I have contacted Bridgestone who says take it back to dealer to possibly send to them , before I do this there is something stuck in my head that there was a thread on this before but can’t find it any ideas ?
Thanks george r

Ps will post pictures when I can work out how to 😊

Sounds like the stripe is where the compound changes. Is there any sign of delamination or cupping?

Sorry lads might be a false alarm found a tiny nail in tyre could be related somehow thanks squibb34 no sign of delamination or cupping.
Thanks again george r

There's a visible line where the compound changes on dual compound tyres, but this should be visible both sides of the central section. And I'm sure I read somewhere that there's an anti-static strip built into tyres these days as well. Can't see how a nail in the tyre would create a line all the way round.

Photos would help...

(Most annoying thing about A41s on my new bike was a blue paint line on the front tyre way over to one side. Sort of advertises how little I've leant over.)

I have the same tyres on my KTM adv 1090r and yesterday
also noticed a line down the centre of the rear tyre , didn’t give it much thought probably
from the mould when manufactured. The line isn’t in a perfect straight line it runs staggered
across the tyre pattern. Done about 3000 miles.

Sounds similar to this Verona a very light marking round tyre left it at bike shop today for puncture repair he thought it was nothing to worry about if it was something like a static strip you would think the Bridgestone tech guy would have explained it as I sent them pics might take it to dealer to have a look if I can get a slot.
Thanks for reply’s george r

Personally I don’t think there is anything wrong with them and hasn’t affected the handling. Cheers
Just seen your pictures and yes mines the same.
