Pulled from under a tarpaulin in a back garden in Cumbria

Last Mot'd / used / moved in 2012

Immediate obvious issues are a hole in the petrol tank and the sight-glass on the master cylinder smashed so no front brake and obviously can't add fuel to try and start it

After putting on a new battery and replacing the starter relay the engine does spin freely on the button and the oil light goes out

Just need to decide if it is viable to rescue it or not

Anyone got any 16V flying brick parts lying round ?



 
Getting the tank aluminium TIG welded and swapping the front brake master cylinder out

Temporarily fitted the tank from my K1100LT and it fired straight up and ticks over nicely . Clutch and drive all OK and gear box goes through all of the gears and gear indicator in dash works

Now do I just service it and let someone.else have it or do I do a more exhaustive refurb on it .......

Anyone fancy a running project bike for £750 ?
