Just renewed my insurance for the bike and was checking my details online and noticed that they had not included pillion cover had to contact them to amend it and they said I had chosen no pillion but I said that it had not come up in the conversation,I naturally assumed that it would like if you insure your car you would expect to be able to take passengers . Also when I asked if my expired sp30 needed to be declared I was told yes upto 5 years which seems to be odd as they come off your license after 4 .but with that declared the premium dropped by £1.00

It's pretty much standard practice to have penalties and claims active for a 5 year period on motor insurance.

I too, have discovered pillion cover not being automatically included on some policies...as you say...check...read the small print. :thumb
