Ideal Tent For An Iceland Trip

No heater wanted thanks. :thumb2 A nice warm sleeping bag will do with an Exped Downmat.

I've used inflatable sleeping mats for years. The Exped Downmat makes a noticeable difference. Certainly better than anything else I have tried.

Good point, if you do have one can I borrow it I’ve an idea to erect a magical kingdom.

I’ve been a few times and if you want to PM me with any questions happy to help.

For example, Crossfires are big ( I have a pair) and much prefer the Sidi adventure which has served well in Iceland and reasonable to get on off and keep dry through streams. I also have an XL Klim badlands.
Sorry, I meant Sidi Adventure 2’s! :blast The gortex jobbies with better ankle protection. Smug pointed that out to me on Saturday. :thumb2
I’ll give you a shout if I have any questions. :thumb2

I have an Exped MegaMat 10 arriving today. :thumb2 Good down to -48 degrees! I really don’t want to test that though.

I tell you what, that tent is absolutely superb! :thumb2
Not as big physically as I was dreading after the piss taking I got! :D Just about perfect for what I was after. Only got 4 tent pegs holding it up in the pictures but is surprisingly stable at that. :thumb2
