In the process of giving my new to me (first airhead) R75/6 a fluids, filters and consumables service.
Just about to put the carbs back on with new choke cables and I notice the numbers on the carbs are 64/32/13 and 64/32/14. My Haynes state these are for a R75/7 and the /6 should have a /9 and /10.
The details in the Haynes show some small differences.
Is this a major issue and needing different carbs or do I go ahead and fit. The bike was running prior to my service but it was pointed out to me that the carbs did need balancing.
Hope someone can help
Cheers
P.S. Apologies if this is a numpty question :blast

If you are a purist, take the pistol into the drawing room......

If not, they will be fine. Check the jet sizes against your Haynes manual (you should be able to read all the numbers on the jets with the aid of a magnifying glass).
