Does anyone know,

what's the difference in the Garmin 660 and BMW Nav VI, on the RT with the wheel control,

what do I miss out on, with the 660,

is it worth getting a Nav VI?

cheers, your comments welcome:thumb2

The 660 won’t work with the wheel. Only BMW branded devices will. It’s as simple as that.

As to the other, less fundamental differences? The 660 is still a very good device, though is now perhaps a bit long in the tooth *. The Nav VI (or its Garmin stablemates) is very good. Faster, better screen etc etc but you do have to get used to its operating system working differently to the 660.

* At the time of the 660’s launch it had some teething problems. For a while some bods said they didn’t trust it and would stick with their 550 or whatever. You stopped hearing that quite so often after while. Now you hardly ever hear it at all.
