Inspection Glass Replacement HELP!

Looking to buy a buddy's clapped out G450X that hasn't been touched in 2 years.

For now the biggest problem is his inspection glass disappeared during his last ride. He got a new glass from a shop but never put it in.

Checking now he says the glass doesn't fit/looks like it installs from the inside? Is that right? Anyone have ideas about this?

I own a drz and man its hard to find resources about the g450x...

Also if the glass installs from the inside then the old one is probably floating around in the crankcase still...

Anyone know where I can download a manual?

Sight glass is fitted from the inside so the old one may well be in the crankcase

You have to heat the alumlnium casing to 80 degrees to expand it then the new one can be fitted

To get casing off clutch and water pump have to be removed so you will need a full set of RH casing gaskets and seals

No printed/pdf manual as such it is the BMW REPROM that you will need , try eBay..

Correct part number for Inspection glass is 11 42 7 707 100 , part 3 in diagram below
