Just posted a wanted ad for a right hand switch in the Wanted section.
Thought a post here might get extra reads!
Anybody help?

Why does no one state model or year of switchgear ? Is it a guessing game ?

Post 2 stated R75/6 June 1976
Added by Gelandestrasse to correct my sloppy wording.
Mike is correct about the indicator on the right hand switch.

R Hand Switch

Replacement switch obtained from Scooter Paul, many thanks for your assistance.
Upon removing the old loom I managed to disconnect a black wire from two plastic rectangular blocks. One end goes to the ignition switch but the other one ?????
I cant find any reference to them on the wiring diagram so I hope someone enlighten me as to what they are :nenau
Attached is a picture:

Good to meet you too Paul. I don’t know the answer to your question but an educated guess is, as your bike is ex police, these black blocks have something to do with suppression devices to block interference with police radios and are therefore redundant. But it is just a guess.

Thanks Paul and good to meet you, I fitted the switch today and all is well so cheers for that and your educated guess !!
