I have resisted moving to Basecamp and plan all my routes in map source, recently bought a new Africa Twin and would like to use google maps routes through apple play on to the dash display. Is there a simple way to convert my map source files to files that can be used on google maps.

change the .gpx file to a .kml file, then Create a map in My Maps in Google Maps, click the Import button and point it to the kml file and upload it to the created map. or take a look at this it may make more sence than my ramblings as its been a while. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9Ob-x83fXc

I use this website for this type of task ie changing file format, I can use it that means its pretty simple. browse and pick out the file from your file location on your computer choose the type of file format you want to convert to and out it pops. Does other clever things too. https://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_input
