Couldn't find anything online as a suitable replacement, so bought a replacement rubber.
I turned down a bit of nylon rod, drilled and countersunk it. I then cut the bit of rubber off that locks onto the footpeg and drilled a 6mm hole to fit the nylon washer and stainless screw with a trimmed washer and unlock nut.
My Wife can now stand on the peg and turn her foot round without disturbing the rubber.
