I did 200 miles yesterday with Neotec 2/SRL set up. Listening to music all day and took 2 calls from my wife. I just use the cheap earplugs and found the volume perfect at legal speeds. Make sure you have the volume on your i phone up to max and also the headphone at max as per below.
