Fitting a Garmin Zumo 346LMT-S

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to hard wire my sat nav to the 850’s Can Bus system via the wee terminal in the fairing?
I have it connected to the battery terminals just now but that means when it is on the bike it is constantly on.
I’m aware that Nippy Normans have connectors for the terminal but can I splice the sat nav into it?
If it is possible, do I need to buy a specific connector as there seems to be loads to choose from on the site?

Yes I’ve hard wired my tomtom via a Nippy normans connector. It’s an easy job as Bmw have left a plug for you on the rhs below the windscreen. Do search on the forum on the subject and you’ll see how easy it is.

The lowest price for this connector is actually from the BMW dealer.
