I think it maybe the Chinese engine not sure but its a very decent spec and one of the best looking adventure styled bikes for a while. As a crossover/ soft roader or what ever category its in its great value at £6995
"The bike features 50mm adjustable forks, 175mm of ground clearance, and an adjustable seat that can be set at either 820 or 845mm. The engine, a Zhongeng-derived unit, is a 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled unit, with 8-valves. It’ll also be available in two versions, full power 60bhp @ 8,500 rpm and an A2 compliant 47bhp also. Torque is a claimed 56Nm (41lb-ft) at 7,000rpm.
While the power and torque figures do place the Moto Morini just behind the rest of the established middleweight adventure motorcycle pack, with its Chinese roots, this stylish adventure machine will be very competitively priced. While the bike has only just been announced in Asia, and the official Moto Morini website lists the bike as ‘Coming Soon’, one UK dealership has already listed the bike, and its apparent RRP - £6,995."
