New from Kriega….

All-weather adventure touring demands robust, reliable equipment. The Trail 18 Adventure Backpack utilises Kriega's ground breaking Quadloc-Lite harness, combined with high-tech construction materials to meet the needs of the adventure rider. Composed of three sections: A heavy-duty zip access 7-litre rear compartment which is a perfect storage area for a Tool-Roll and water bottle or the optional 3.75L Hydration Reservoir. This area also has a small internal waterproof pocket for a phone and wallet, combined with the main roll-top body providing a total of 12-litres 100% waterproof storage. The innovative Hypalon net also provides more external storage for wet gear.

Just ordered one in Husky lime together with 3.75 litre hydrapak.

Not cheap but will last years, like all Kriega kit.

The rucksack has turned up.

Seems a very clever design and should be very useful.
The main pocket is 11 litres and 100% waterproof :

The Hydrapak is 3.1 litres with the baffle shut or 3.75 with it open.
The former should be plenty !!
Two pockets within the bag.One should be fine for bits and bobs and the other roll pocket for phone etc.

The honeycomb mesh on the outside also has a drawstring to expand/contract to stow spare kit.

Planning to use the rucksack on Asturias trip in a couple of weeks.

Looks typical Kriega classy.

Lifetime use and the quad lock system is genius.

That was the first thing I noticed. .

I could tour with just that for 2 weeks easy.

I always hated back packs on bikes, until I got a kriega with quad lock.

It genuinely makes a huge difference.
