2008 R1200gs winglet fitting

A piece of aluminium plate cut and drilled to the dimensions of the mounting plate and fitted underneath the original plastic panel should do the job of spreading the load (I'm assuming your concern is the wind blast).

It is! Anyway, I’ve fitted the winglets. I’ve tested them at motorway plus a tiny bit speeds and all seems fine. Can’t say I notice ANY difference to my comfort but they do look kinda cool in my opinion!
