Screen swirls

Is it possible to remove screen swirls? Can they be polished out to give a bit of a shine? If so what's best to use?

Yes but very hard work if done by hand, best bet is to take a trip down to halfords and look at the headlight polishing kits that they have, but depending on how bad you could be talking sanding and then polishing out by machine.

Do you know anyone that polishes their car to death as they will likely have the machine you will need?

You can get products designed for perspex aircraft canopies that might work, in the long run a replacement screen may be the best bet if it really bad
