Just wanted to say hi to you all, and show you my X moto project that I’ve recently bought. I thought it could have belonged to one of you and you might like to find out what has become of it..

The Bike was a stolen / recovered Cat N bargain that I found on eBay direct from the Insurance company. It needed a Clutch lever, Ignition barrel, numberplate and speedo replacement for the MOT. I managed to do the work myself and the cost for the parts was around £85, so a pretty cheap ride in the end.

I’m planning on getting some X-challenge wheels eventually, which I’ll swap over for some off roading at the weekend, then back to the cast wheels for the commute to work in the week!

Good one Davouno :thumby:

The G series of X 'bikes are great ... I love 'em.

Welcome to all things UKGSer ... the G series are well catered for on here :D

Looks like you may have got yourself a bargain.
I don't think the wheels will be an easy swop though.

Thanks Micky, the X series definitely seem to be bikes that were ahead of the game.

Yeah agreed, deanono I’ve been reading about all the work required. I’ll update the thread if I manage to sort the swap out.
