I am lowering my R1100GS by about 30mm so need to shorten the centre stand. I have been offered a shortened one from an R1150GS. Will it fit?
If not, are stands from other R1100 models shorter and likely to fit/be what I need?
Any advice or input appreciated.

how much was the 1150 one shortened by, might help someone come up with the correct answer.

It was shortened by 1.5 inches.

I guess the key question for me is still whether the stand for an 1150GS will fit onto an 1100GS?
Any experts out there?

They’re not interchangeable.
