My daughter is heading down to Dublin from Northern Ireland for a couple of nights. Does she need a Covid Passport to get into restaurants etc or will the proof of vaccine suffice (the wee card you get after been vaccinated with the two dates of vaccine and the vaccine type).

Many thanks in advance

I just show my card. They don’t always ask although they should. For nightclubs she must book at least an hour before hand. JJH

We are in the Republic now, on holiday
Some accept the card
Others want the full paper passport and the QR code to scan
Best print it off, takes 10 mins in the NHS website

Thanks for the quick replies - most useful & will pass it on.

I was down there last September and all I had to show was the wee card, but i was further south & west

It’s easy enough to import you NI Covid cert QR code into the Ireland Covid app.
