So after putting 7500 miles on my 40 Year GS last year I decided I wanted to build a similar bike but based on the Adventure. I knew I wanted the big tank after my 2 trips to Scotland last year but liked the fact that the regular GS had less bulk and was narrower. This is the result after picking up my new bike 4 weeks ago. I have a few things still to sort like the Cymarc spotlight bracket and a toolbox for my 4 weeks in France next summer. I know it will not be to everyone’s taste but I think it will tick a few boxes for me for my trips next year.

it looks a hundred times better than the 40 yr colour scheme, that looked awful, sorry:D

The GS logo on the handlebar pad is on the piss ;)

Looks well Reggie, good job :okay

Are you getting bits carbon covered or buying already carbon bits
If being covered where you getting them done
Looking nice thanks

What are the bash guards? like them, not seen them before.

That looks stunning, love your thinking.

BTW... Thought I saw you old yellow one about the Four Winds area a couple of weeks ago.

( ps. Do you really think you need a tool box on a bike that new.... If you use it for tools that is.)

I sold it to Hursts so maybe. Was back to standard with the gold wheels etc.

No. I have the painter one of the Rizoma frame plugs and he matched that.

Can I ask how much the wheels cost to paint and were they sprayed or powder coated or something else?

Were they stripped before hand?

Thanks
