Hi All. Time to show off your engine casings.... 
I have a Silver 2008 GS and while I have it pulled apart for servicing, I am sending the rocker covers off to get tarted up as they are looking a bit tatty now. I have found a powdercoater that has worked with magnesium plenty of times before and knows all the tricks so hopefully it won't be a problem to him.
The 3 colours I had in mind are the standard Silver/Grey colour, a deep Blue to match with other blue powdercoated bits I have on it, or Black to make the engine a bit less conspicuous and make the covers blend in with the black barrels. If anyone has any photos of coloured rocker covers on their bike, I would be grateful to see them and give me some inspiration for the colour. Thanks for reading if you got this far. Steve
