It’s quite nice, in a minimalist kind of way :)

It will be interesting to see if they put that liquid cooled PowerPlus motor in an updated Roadmaster idc.

The 116 air cooled motor has plenty of torque, but many still complain about the heat from the rear cylinder in the summer, even with de-activation.

Never ridden an Indian but I’m possibly renting a Chieftain Dark Horse in the States next month.
Much cheaper than an HD and will make a nice change.

I still run a late 88ci Electraglide, but have taken the odd test ride on air cooled Indians - much to enjoy, but no giant leap forward; just different. Originally I was planning to upgrade to a 115th anniversary EG, but the silly issues with the early M8s made me hold off for a while & led me to consider Indian.

The 116ci motor certainly delivers plenty of grunt, far better than even an upgraded 111ci motor, but they are still a rare beast given the dire UK sales figures last year.

Anyway, enjoy the ride next month.

How long you touring States for, big trip or between flights type of trip?

Have you been yet and if so was you as impressed as the you tube link you posted??

I ended up with a Challenger, which totally surprised me.
Great motor but the best bit was the handling.
The way it tipped into corners defied belief.Great bike and loved every minute of it
