I used my Navigator devices on my 1600, all the way from 2011 when the bike was first released.
I never found the glare obtrusive, despite clocking up thousands of miles. On the odd occasion glare intruded, I just shifted my body a bit to put the device into the shade. It's not as if you ride along looking at it...... hopefully.
folk are all shapes and sizes,
i wouldn't be asking if it wasn't a problem for me, but thanks for your input.
was out on the bike last week ,a good bit of glare nine times out of ten when i needed the info from the screen.
I am not convinced that cracking the brightness of a screen up, in bright sun, helps too much. All it might be doing is bleaching it out further. Try going the other way (darkening it down) on the few days that the sun blinds.
