Brief Introduction...

Morning Everyone,

I am a returning GS Adventure user.....Decided to get re-acquainted after a few year living with the 1000RR. Big step at my age, but have been encouraged by the reduced height model so the bike is less intimidating. Waiting for the bike to arrive in early June as just ordered a new R1250 Adventure TE plus Alu panniers. During the coming weeks I will be looking for and asking advice on what I need to do with the Bike to make a few planned trips, first one heading to the west coast of Scotland to do battle with 'The Midgies'.

I hail from Tyneside area so Scotland quite a nice easy start, lets see how we go from there.

Looking forward to re-uniting myself with the forum and its members.
