I see that the recently reinvented Dockers Inn pub in Wapping Lane now has rooms.

Very convenient for the City, trendy Shoreditch, Brick Lane, the river (obviously), Wapping station (regular services) to Docklands, north London and connections to the West End.

Free on street parking in the evenings and all weekend. I reckon the landlord would let you park a motorcycle in the back, behind the locked gates.

Well the food prices certainly seem reasonable and that’s always a good start.

Next door to Tobacco dock for the bike shed show.

We pop family members in a local hotel when we run out of bedrooms….if I could get a discount I would..

And easy connection to ExCel and the O2 via the excellent London Overground (albeit it’s underground at Wapping) and the DLR.

The Elizabeth Line, which (at last) opens in just a few days, is in easy reach as well. Just hop on the overground at Wapping, a couple of minutes later you are at Whitechapel. Whitechapel to say, Heathrow is then just 34 minutes, compared with over an hour at the moment.
