Emma Trenchard - Vespa to Kyrgyzstan

A short film of her trip - Clive in the film is that chap that services my bikes, now he’s an interesting chap still said by others to be the quickest rider on the coast road!

Trenchard eh? Hmmm ... Any relation ...

Brilliant tale though! Thanks for posting. :thumb2

Fabulous to be reminded what 'adventure motorcycling' really means.

In terms of her goals, I think that was a pretty good choice of bike.

Thanks for posting that.

Great to see a young lady hitting the road, cracking video too.

Absolutely brilliant !!

Non of that filling her head full of 'stuff' - just point it in the right direction and ride.

Love it...:thumb

What an amazing character.... the world needs more Emma's

Totally unfazed about the route ahead, little experience on a bike, minimal planning, on a bike with tiny wheels.:):clap
Brilliant.

Many of us would have told her noooooo, you need a bike with bigger wheels,
off road tyres, large fuel tank, tool kit, proper clothing, blah blah...

Perhaps we're over thinking things.

I've just read the MCN link in post #1

All that way on those little wheels - Just 1 puncture !!!!

I had my first one of the year on Sunday. 01/01/2023....:blast

Don’t underestimate the humble Vespa :thumb

No matter where you are in the world on a bike there will always be some local on a step through going faster than you whilst carrying half a ton of crap on the back . Small bikes rule on the tough roads or remotely

100% I just watched the video - seems you only really need one thing, and that's the right attitude. Get that right, and everything else will sort itself out.
