As Capt Mainwairing would say "here's a little wrinkle for you"
I bought a 2017 RT LC recently and as a tall bastard and being fussy I found that you feel like you are sliding forward on the seat when braking harder... Sort of downhill...
After fixing the same thing on an XTZ12 I did the same this weekend on the RT... All I did was cut 10-15mm off the bottom of front seat rubber and added the same to the top with the XTZ bungs I had left over... A bit of narrow gaffa tape and the fact that the rubbers are a tight fit on the spindles and the height is raised by the 15mm at the front...
I bought a couple of spares just in case but TBH if you want the normal height again then you rotate 90 degrees forward and its back to normal... Made a difference to me and as there is a gap under the seat on the normal high setting anyway, it doesn't change much else...
