Hi

I’ve pretty much rebuilt most part of my 1150gs to more of a scrambler look but the mirrors has seen its best days.

I have really searched for new mirrors but have a hard time finding ones that will fit.

Anyone else that has found something that works (and looks good)?

Thanks in advance!

K1200RS mirrors fit perfect, clear of hand guards with Touratech extensions and they have the same half round shape base as the originals.
So plug and play ...
Much better view back as covering wider area.....works a treat and looks great
Trouble only is to find a used pair, almost impossible so bought new from Motorworks

Whatton had them fitted to his bike back in 2006.

I’ve always been happier with mine than the originals, and there’s loads of room around the for handguard extensions.

I’ve been looking for a pair of these for a while now.

I’ve been looking for a pair of these for a while now.

I believe mine came from eBay.de, but it was about 10yrs ago… A lot of the parts on my GS came that route - eg both wheels and the hyperpro shocks, valve covers and rear load tray. Postage from Germany (pre brexit) was always very reasonable.

motorworks only have new in stock. "That BMW part number is for the left hand post 2001 K1200RS mirror- as the R1150R standard mirror is the same as the pre 2001 K1200RS one they are interchangeable, the right hand mirror is the same number just ending with a 4, we have none used but do have new listed here

They do fit into the handlebar lever clamps of the R1150R.

They do not come with nuts and washers but if I recall correctly you should be able to use the ones from your existing mirrors.

The website will be able to calculate delivery charge depending on what you have in your basket."

Nuts and washers transfer no problem, but the left one does need a small amount of work with a dremel to allow the fast idle lever to work.

No it doesn’t need any Dremeling ...as mine fitted plug and play......same curvature as the original..
