Hi folks
I noticed a rubber overflow pipe (believe to be coolant) located and resting on the top of the side stand area. It has become dislodged a couple of times and burnt onto the exhaust pipe. Can anyone confirm, is this pipe supposed to be located here or has the previous owner done a botch job?
Thanks in advance
Dan

I dont think there is an overflow for the coolant, but at that location is normally the breather/overflow from the petrol tank, on my model it's zip tied to the frame. On the R1100/R1200 they were always on the left hand side closest to the gear selector or at least on mine.

Here's the location of the two rubber pipes on my 21 R1250RT - they appear to be fairly secure in position, although I can't see what's holding them. One of them is almost certainly an overflow from the petrol tank filler surround. I don't know what the other one is. (Petrol will not auto-ignite on a hot exhaust, although it will vaporise pretty quickly)

Thanks for the reply everyone. Seems like it was in the right place. Checked a couple at my local dealer.
