Not a problem as such, but has anyone else noticed their idle speed drop when in hot climates or high in the Alps ? (Other mountain ranges are available)
I figured it must be air density, but surely a Lamba would account for that ?
Is it just me ?

No, and I've had my bike to 15000 feet and 42 degrees C, although not at the same time.

Must admit that at serious altitude the loss of power was noticable though, which I thought the fuel system would have been able to compensate for.

No fuel system can compensate for thin air.

Yes, mine drops about 100-150rpm when at idle at high Alps altitude. Normally just bring it up a bit using the fast idle 'choke' lever to prevent a car park stall and topple in front of the crowds...
