We have just stayed for three nights (in temperatures north of 30 C) at this campsite:
https://www.campingleluberon.com/en/
Recommended, as it has lots of shade and good sized pitches. Helpful and friendly staff. It’s a mile or so outside Apt, a decent sized, reasonably nice Provençal town. Take the bus, walk or call a taxi
We hired a fridge in advance.
Be wary of turning up on the off chance though. The site is full, even in mid-June, though the pitches are well spaced, so you are not living cheek by jowl. As far as I can see, we are the only British, everyone else being French, Belgian, Dutch or German.
