Has anyone partaken in any of the BDR trips? https://ridebdr.com/visit-usa/

I was looking at it for a couple of years time, hiring a bike out there and spending a couple of weeks doing one of the trails. Looking at the Idaho or Massachusetts ones I think.

Just done about 75% of the MABDR.
Not one you’re interested in but I can tell you that between the website and the Butler’s map the information is not very precise in terms of:
Difficulty of route
Amenities on route
Places of interest
Luckily we met riders going the other way who were good for information and of course used Google maps as well.
It was a brilliant ride.

I've got a great contact in Boise Idaho if you want to rent a bike for the BDR.

Washington bdr

Hi. I did the washigton bdr a couple of years ago on an xchallenge and it was fun fun fun. Ive also done bits of other routes in nw usa. The amount of dirt riding is out of this world and the free camping spots are everywhere, as long as youre happy with a space for your tent and a firepit. Sometimes benches, occasionally loos. Defo research your route an go for a lightly packed smaller bike....
