classic bike but no licence.insurance

a friend of mine has just restored a 70s honda 250.he doesnt have a bike licence and cant get insurance for the bike.he wants it insured so myself or someone else can take it for a run occasionaly.any suggestions gratefully received.he knows he could put it in someone elses name but doesnt want to do this.

Speak to Bemoto, I looked in to this a while back but ended up registering the bike in my name and had to declare that I owned it. It was kept at my place as well which is what insurance companies want to see.
