These just arrived in the post for the special that Mikey is working on. Roy Martin at billetbikebits made them for me. Very pleased with how they’ve come out
Lovely yokes….take extra points for not calling them triple clamps.
Nice wheel build too….what size rims?
Rims are 21” front and 18” rear, the front is KTM to match the 690 enduro forks I’m using and the rear is a standard tubed rim laced to a paralever hub.
Thanks. That’s interesting
On the rear did you increase offset and take the opportunity to go with a wider rim?
I’d like to go from 17” tubeless to an 18” tubed rim on a paralever 4 stud wheel but wasn’t sure it was possible.
Who should I talk to please?
Thanks chaps.
It’s a Paralever I’d like to do….from OEM 17” tubeless to 18” tubed on the stock hub.
I’m not fussed about going bigger width particularly so it’s great to know its possible.
For some reason it was in my head that due to the number of spoke holes on the stock hub, a tubed type rim would not match up.
I thought I’d better check the 18” wheel & 4.00” tyre fits OK to a paralever so I put it on my basic. It’s 45mm bigger in diameter and 8mm narrower than the standard 130/80-17. The good news is that it all fits perfectly with about 6mm clearance on the tyre and good clearance on the spokes v the bevel housing. Happy days
