It can’t all be shite or there wouldn’t be so many pages on it. Here’s just a simple sample:

It is that easy to make yourself a holiday, all it requires is a tiny bit of effort, beyond “Me and me three mates, we need….”

If anyone goes on this tour do not forget the Technik Museum at Speyer. Most people find something of interest there. Its a good 3/4 day job with restaurants etc.

We had an enforced detour of the area, when faced with a B10 umleitung when the main road east of Pirmasens was being re-engineered a while back. All very pleasant rural Germany, with forests, fachwerk villages etc, but slow going, so leave plenty of time. The idea of doing the circuit in a day seems a tad ambitious & frankly misses the whole point of bimbling around these places.

The blurb says that it can be done in a day (250 km = 150 miles) but is maybe better spread over two days.
