Energica Experia- first long distance electric tourer…?

Range on EVs is an issue. Say the theoretical range is 200km; you’re going to be looking for a charge point at around 150 miles- the theoretical range assumes you run the battery flat and that’s bad for the battery so the EMU will be telling you to charge at about 20% remaining capacity. Also, charging to 100% capacity isn’t good for battery life so generally you would only charge to 80%. And the range reduces by 10-20% in cold weather and similar in heatwaves like we just had. I speak with 12 months experience of running an electric car as my main vehicle.
