Help needed confirming seat type

Hi all.

I need your help confirming which type of seat this is. The seat came with my 2020 750 and on the build/options sheet it is listed as the comfort seat. However, the part number on the base (5253 8 564 836) doesn't seem to match up with what I can find on the Motorrad Accessories site or Real OEM. Therefore I'm not clear whether it is the comfort seat, high seat or just standard. The bike is a 1 owner 420 mile example so I think it unlikely that the previous owner would have changed it from original build but wanted a second opinion

Being a short a**e I am now using a low seat and plan to sell it but I want to make sure that I list it correctly.

Your thoughts are very much appreciated.

My dealer assured me I was getting the standard seat but it always felt too cramped. I recently checked it against a known low seat & I’ve definitely got a low one

If yours is a comfort seat I’d definitely be interested & possibly if it’s a standard seat too…

With 650 singles, it used to be the case that it was the actual plastic tray that had the part number "embossed" on it, pertaining to the tray, not the seat (I know). .. It was therefore the same part number across every OEM seat. You may want to put the picture of the top side here and people could help. The standard low seat is very different from the standard "normal" seat. and can be told easily from a picture...

I'll have a look at mine later on in the eve... I have the low standard that came with the bike, standard and comfort I got afterwards...

Thanks for the replies so far. Have a low seat on the bike, so I know it's not a 'low'. I'll get a pic of the top later an upload it.

From the accessories catalogue (making a few assumptions), I reckon 836 must be the standard seat, as it isn't listed, black/grey. Then the options: -

Seat Black/Red (height: 815 mm / step length 1.830 mm) 52 53 8 564 837
Seat black/grey (height: 815 mm / step length 1.830 mm) 52 53 8 393 857
Comfort seat (height: 830 mm / step length 1.870 mm) 52 53 8 564 839
Rallye seat 77 34 8 564 840 *6/A
Low seat black/red (height: 790 mm / step length 1.790 mm) 52 53 8 564 838
Low seat black/grey (height: 790 mm / step length 1.790 mm) 52 53 8 394 291

Thanks. I would say apart from the difference in the grey panels, they look the same height.
