Connect iPhone 8 to Audio on 2011 Twin Cam

Anyone know how to…..?

I’ve seen splitter cables for earlier iPhones that terminate in USB & 3.5MM Jack plugs but I haven’t yet found out how to connect the newer phones.

I’ve sorted it, hopefully this will help others.

Use usb to lightning lead to connect to adaptor, plug adapter into iPhone.

Then use 3.5mm headphone lead (male /male) to connect audio.

Seems to work a treat, obviously there’s no jog wheel control other than for volume.
